my friends are FREAKIN awesome! THANKS!
I got surprised at the going away thing at Redhook. My good friends presented me with the box in front of me...And made "me".....Holy crap is that thing cool or what!!!!!!!
It was drawn by Tony Ravo, Sculpted by Law Ruelos, Base by Jason Southwick, and paintjob was by Todd Lovering (Todd doesnt have a website I dont think, but the dude is a kick ass painter) Picture was taken by Moksha
Moksha capturing the moment I opened up...haha So cool! The 10 on the back reflects the yr's I put in at Amaze Entertainment
Here is a picture of the plaque that I was presented at work. This was put together by Pete King, and Tony Ravo
A close up of the sculpt. So cool to actually see in person. So well done. THANKS A TON friends!!!! You guys really made my exit special, and I appreciate the thoughtfulness. It means a whole lot to me.
This pic was taken by Danny Ngan (you can check his flickr page...He's got some shots from the party)

cats outta the bag, Ive given my 2 weeks
Fall Line Studio's in Salt Lake City, Utah. Which is a division of The Walt Disney Company. Im so looking forward to getting closer to family again. And to also work for such the media giant known the world over. I will miss my friends and the lovely state of Washington, but this opportunity is too good to pass up, and Im looking forward to working with such talented folks. Here's a little blurb about the new studio...
Built around a core of industry veterans, the studio will focus on small-team, creative projects that leverage the Disney brand in new and innovative ways. Fall Line Studio will operate as a sister studio to Disney Interactive Studios Avalanche Software studio, also in Salt Lake City, giving the company an advantage in reaching the strong pool of creative talent in the region."This studio will be one of our centers of creative excellence and it gives us the ability to fully capitalize on our properties and expand our market share on Nintendo platforms," said Graham Hopper, senior vice president and general manager of Buena Vista Games. "Scott Novis brings the perfect mix of team building and relevant business experience to the position of studio head for Fall Line Studio." Scott Novis is the former head of Rainbow Studios in Phoenix.
Everyone that I met down there was so friendly and seemed really positive. Hope we can make some fun games for the masses, and get the Disney Interactive name back on the map respectively!
Hope to keep the art coming, and hope to get better in the process.

geekdom weekend! ECCC
Had a friend take this at the Emerald City Comic Con this past weekend. I always laugh at these guys who dress up, but these guys sure looked cool, and how many chances do you get to pose with Darth Vadar! Heck yeah! haha
Holding in my hand is Sean "Cheeks" Galloway's new sketchbook which is amazing! He sketched out a kickass Superman for me in the book. Sweetness. Dude was super friendly too. Very very humble artist as well which was cool to see.
I also picked up Robin Mitchell's new sketchbook as well. Another one who is smoking awesome as well. I sure wished he would of been there at the con, but was not, due to other plans. Too bad really.
Also finally picked up one of Alberto Ruiz 11x17 big ol sketchbook which is amazing as well. Alberto is one of the nicest dudes too. He just took on a new venture of publishing art books. The two books above are part of his master plan to take over the art book world! haha Give the man your business, he sure deserves it. The books are awesome.
Hope to start posting more work. I got inspired to draw.

3 red rings of DEATH!
One good thing, I started playing Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess on the WII, so my Xbox wont be missed all that much.
Zelda is pretty awesome so far. Ive played every Legend of Zelda game to date, and this one doesnt look to disappoint at all. It's been very fun so far.

words I heard today...
My Dad called me up today and told me he'd recently been to see the doc, and that his heart is failing. This hit me deep today, and I couldn't hold my emotions together very well. Yup, I sobbed like a baby. You never know when a loved one could be taken from you, and I know Ill be crushed when my Dad does eventually pass. So I want my Dad to know how much I love him greatly and what an awesome dude he is! I know he reads my blog, so I love ya Dad! I am probably over-reacting, but dont want to pass on the chance to say so...
