epic mickey boss battles

Here's another post that I should of posted when Epic Mickey came out. I did all the animation for the TronPete boss as well as the animationicHook boss for Epic Mickey. I also did most of the work for the sails in Hooks ship as well. We were a small team at Avalanche that got to do the boss battles for Junction Point. I had a lot of fun working on this project.

wow, long time no blog. I've had no real desire to post to my blog in a long time. We've been doing some anim tests at work, since we are pretty much done with Ultimate Band. A great feeling, and one of my favorite games Ive worked on so far. Anyways, I got this soundclip from my buddies at animationbeefcakes, a bunch of Amaze employees I use to work with.

horton hears a what?

I really want this movie to be good, but have a feeling it's gonna be a turd. I sure hope it proves me wrong. We checked out the 7 minute thing on Youtube, and it still feels very Ice Agey to me. Im just talking story wise, because the animation is super top notch stuff, which could be a good enough reason to see this on the big screen. A bunch of us from work are going to see it for lunch. Ill have to give my opinion once I see it. Until then...check out my sketch yo...Though doesnt even come close to the brilliance of Suess.

Bill Presing inspiration

I was inspired by a Bill Presing piece this evening, and Ive always wanted to draw Vampirella. Such a cool design, and Im a BIG fan of Bill's so hopefully he doesnt mind. :) I know it's nowhere close to what Mr Presing would, could, can do....But I had fun with it either way.

new ds sketchadoodle..Im working on a new project at work that Im really enjoying. We are getting to animate some really fun characters, in some really fun wacky cartoony style. I cant wait til it's announced so my friends can see what Ive been up to. On another note The Chronic "what?" cles of Narnia is almost all ready to be put on the shelfs. This is for Prince Caspian. Hopefully I'll have a more formal announcement as the ship date gets close.

mentorlike anim without the Animation Mentor

A couple of the guys at work like Mel and Jamie, have done some tests with the same model as Animation Mentor guys are using. Well not exactly, but it's pretty much the same thing. Anyways, I took the challenge and just did a little test myself. I hope to take on a dialog piece within the next week or so. Anyways, if you have crits, definitely let me know. I want to get better at this anim thing.
