Well look at some of these pics...they speak volumes about my friends....Im simply just amazed at the time and effort people took to see me out the door with love. Man...just too freakin cool.

I got surprised at the going away thing at Redhook. My good friends presented me with the box in front of me...And made "me".....Holy crap is that thing cool or what!!!!!!!
It was drawn by Tony Ravo, Sculpted by Law Ruelos, Base by Jason Southwick, and paintjob was by Todd Lovering (Todd doesnt have a website I dont think, but the dude is a kick ass painter) Picture was taken by Moksha

cats outta the bag, Ive given my 2 weeks

Hey there peeps, some news you can use. Ive given my 2 weeks at my current place of employment "Amaze" which is up this Wednesday the 25th. And starting May 1st, my new place of employment will be............dun dun dun..........drumroll please...........

Fall Line Studio's in Salt Lake City, Utah. Which is a division of The Walt Disney Company. Im so looking forward to getting closer to family again. And to also work for such the media giant known the world over. I will miss my friends and the lovely state of Washington, but this opportunity is too good to pass up, and Im looking forward to working with such talented folks. Here's a little blurb about the new studio...

Built around a core of industry veterans, the studio will focus on small-team, creative projects that leverage the Disney brand in new and innovative ways. Fall Line Studio will operate as a sister studio to Disney Interactive Studios Avalanche Software studio, also in Salt Lake City, giving the company an advantage in reaching the strong pool of creative talent in the region."This studio will be one of our centers of creative excellence and it gives us the ability to fully capitalize on our properties and expand our market share on Nintendo platforms," said Graham Hopper, senior vice president and general manager of Buena Vista Games. "Scott Novis brings the perfect mix of team building and relevant business experience to the position of studio head for Fall Line Studio." Scott Novis is the former head of Rainbow Studios in Phoenix.

Everyone that I met down there was so friendly and seemed really positive. Hope we can make some fun games for the masses, and get the Disney Interactive name back on the map respectively!

Hope to keep the art coming, and hope to get better in the process.

Every Friday a bunch of artists from work draw at lunch time. A topic is chosen at 12:00 and you have an hr to pull off the topic. Today our topic was boy with a ridiculous hat. I decided to go with it this time and see what I could do. I had fun with it. It's a bit sloppy, but it was a speedy done in less than a half hr.

geekdom weekend! ECCC

Had a friend take this at the Emerald City Comic Con this past weekend. I always laugh at these guys who dress up, but these guys sure looked cool, and how many chances do you get to pose with Darth Vadar! Heck yeah! haha

Holding in my hand is Sean "Cheeks" Galloway's new sketchbook which is amazing! He sketched out a kickass Superman for me in the book. Sweetness. Dude was super friendly too. Very very humble artist as well which was cool to see.

I also picked up Robin Mitchell's new sketchbook as well. Another one who is smoking awesome as well. I sure wished he would of been there at the con, but was not, due to other plans. Too bad really.

Also finally picked up one of Alberto Ruiz 11x17 big ol sketchbook which is amazing as well. Alberto is one of the nicest dudes too. He just took on a new venture of publishing art books. The two books above are part of his master plan to take over the art book world! haha Give the man your business, he sure deserves it. The books are awesome.

Hope to start posting more work. I got inspired to draw.
